How often is this forum actually seen by anyone at Plex?

I have a pretty specific request for a feature/change related to an issue that I am having (Please make duplicate detection for subscriptions optional). I already have a workaround for the issue, so its not a blocker on my end, but there hasn’t been a single reply, even to acknowledge that the issue exists. It seems like Plex is only interested in leveraging the existing users in the community to provide support, rather than actually interacting with the community to improve their software.

Is this really the case? Do people actually from Plex (support people and/or developers) actually view this forum on a regular basis?

Yes, multiple times on a daily basis

Sometimes even more.

Plex does not comment on new features or feature requests so you won’t get a response. If you really want that feature, please make it a proper feature request and vote for it.

Even if the visit, plex devs simply don’t care what customers want. Let people pay and force them crappy new features down there throat and introduce new bugs with every release.

It’s ridiculous I have to use a older version to have stuff working and don’t have plex devs “design” features force my throat.

I am glad when my sub is over, time to find a better solution.

I never get any reply or help when posting on regards to “mobile players” for both iOS and Android. Very frustrating.

As many told here, I think they are all sitting on Ibiza in the sun with a tequilla and a dozen gorgious people parading around them giving the ‘rich’ feeling…
That is how I envision this team in my mind…

I agree. I am NOT a fan of this crowd sourced support. Considering how powerful and popular Plex is, I expect more. I’m also concerned that a lot of posts might not land in the absolute perfect forum/topic/subtopic thus leading to their unnecessary dismissal/demise.
