The duplicate detection for dvr subscriptions (series recording) is imperfect. Sure, this is mostly due to bad metadata, but the fact that you cannot configure it at all or disable it in any way makes the Plex dvr functionality unusable in a lot of cases, which makes it close to worthless. To be clear, I am talking about the event that generates log messages like this:
DEBUG - Subscription: We found a match in the library for ‘’
Is there any way to disable this at all, even outside of the gui? I setup an rsync job to move every episode to a different server and refresh metadata, but it only runs periodically, so its still not perfect.
