How to access Plex Server with different usernames

I use Plex on my PS3. The only way to connect to my local Plex server is with my Plex Pass username (Darxon69).

On my Plex server I created different users with different access rights to the library (for instance "PS3User"). My Plex Pass username is the superuser which can view all the content. I want to login from my PS3 with "PS3User" to prevent my kids viewing content on the PS3 which is not suitable for their age. There is no way to establish a connection between the PS3 and Pley Server. When I sign out from PS3 App then I will get immediately a "Plex pin". This pin I have to enter at https:\\plex.tv\pin. But to enter this I need to connect with my Plex Plass username "Darxon69". After this I'm logged in to the PS3 with "Darxon69".

What ist the sense of the possibility to create different users if it is impossible to use them?

It looks for me like the Plex system is ints infancy.

For now i don't think you will be able to do that maybe when plex for ps3/4 becomes public you will be able to but right now you need a acount with a plex pass to use the playstation plex app managed usesr requires you to be signed into your main acount.

Managed users are only available when signed in with an account in your home. You can choose any name you like and you'll be able to set restrictions on accessible media.

Arrgh. The the Plex App for PS3 and the payd Plex Pass is useless for me at the time.

well in plex defense its beta and it did say that fast user switching was not available yet.

Does it support Plex Home? There is no fast user switching yet, but you can sign into the app with any non-managed account and any restrictions set will be reflected
