How to add standalone png files to movie folder

Server Version#: 1.32.5.7349

I have a movie in its own folder that has png artwork available. I know how to add trailers, featurettes etc in their own folders, but how do I add png files that are standalone, so that they will display?

Thanks

Do you want to add them as some kind of photo gallery or is this about local artwork for posters/backdrops…?

Plex doesn’t currently support adding photos as local extras… but there’s a feature suggestion discussing an option to add image galleries (as videos); edit: found another one focusing on doing the same based on plain images.

As for adding posters/backdrops/… → https://support.plex.tv/articles/200220677-local-media-assets-movies/

These are png files I’d like to have visible in the section of the screen where trailers and featurettes are… guess it isn’t possible. Have to make a fake movie of my own showing the pngs and then add it as a featurette. Thanks.

There’s apps which can create a video from a set of photos… depending of the platform you’re on.

Thanks for the comment, but I use “Da Vinci” a free really powerful video editor to play with moving pictures : )
