I am wondering when you create a library and you add folders, is there a way to alphabetize the list? For instance I create a library for TV series. I have Duck Dynasty and Will and Grace. Then I add Home Improvement and Reba.
and that is the order that they are listed. If I have many folders, I have to scroll through them to find if one is added already instead of sorting alphabetically and easily being able to find it. Just curious if there is a way to alphabetize and if not, would love to see that as an improvement in a future edition. ![]()
You should never add show folders directly to a library. All you need to add is their parent folder.
But what if you don’t want every sub folder under the main folder in a library?
I guess I could do collections or reorganize all of my folders to be how I want them in Plex. Just that would have been a quick easy win if that was something I could do.
Then you need to set up a .plexignore file. https://support.plex.tv/articles/201381883-special-keyword-file-folder-exclusion/#toc-0 ( or put those folders someplace else)
Thanks for that idea. I hadn’t seen that. I do need that for another folder so will try that trick out tonight!
