Right now, it seems that the only way is to “Refresh Metadata”, but that deletes all of the work you’ve done to rename titles, etc. Is there a way to just change the rating provider without Plex deleting your work?

So, that worked for like 95% of my collection. However, a stubborn 5% won’t change over and I have no idea why. Any clues? Possible bug to report?
Yep, that’s the first thing that I did (manually). My Plex Movie Agent is set to get IMDB across the board and does so for like 98% of my library. It’s just a few stubborn items that it doesn’t.
It looks like the IMDB Agent falls back to TMDB when it fails, but I can’t figure out why it failed. It definitely got the right match. I also tried clearing both agent’s cache to no avail.
So this is a problem with the Plex Agent, right?
@Plex Devs, it sounds like we have a bug here. How do you plan to proceed?
I’m able to independently get the data from IMDB. Doesn’t that mean that the scraper isn’t working properly?
If IMDB makes a change their site and breaks the scraper, it’s up to the scraper to solve that problem. I doubt Plex has an agreement with IMDB that IMDB will solve data access issues for Plex. Maybe Plex can clear this up?
What if there’s nothing to fix on IMDB’s side? For example, they make a permanent change to their site that breaks the scraper that Plex uses. Shouldn’t Plex fix it?
IMDB isn’t going to undo changes to their site just for scrapers.
