How to Clear Cache on Synology?

Hello,

I’ve made changes to the ID3 tags on my audio files. I’ve also changed their path. Yet, when I re-scan the library, the old data for certain files persists. It comes back no matter what I do.

I’m changing Album Artist and Album Name for instance.

Is there some way to completely clear the database and cache on Synology?

Is this information being cached elsewhere, such as on Plex’s central servers?

I should have mentioned that Prefer Local Metadata is ON

Try the Plex Dance.

It works for movies & TV shows. I don’t have music in my server, so cannot say for certain it works with music.
