Every time I open the Plex Player on my iPad it shows the same old, tired, useless information of “Recently Added Titles” to some media library. How can I clear this? I really do not use ANY of the information on the HOME page. Can I eliminate (unpin?) the HOME page altogether?

Blunt answer is NO, you can’t get rid of the Home page.
You can however have more granular control over the homepage by visiting your server settings.
Click on the settings icon.
Scroll down and look to your left side for MANAGE. Select LIBRARIES.
Hover your cursor or finger over a listed library until you see the following:
Then click on the arrow on Manage Recommendations
You’ll get the opportunity to fine tune what appears on the home.
Repeat this process for each individual library you want to have appear on the Homepage. Whatever you want discarded, UNCHECK any of the boxes listed under HOME.
