Hi Guys. This is my first post here. I have an HP Microserver to which I have installed Plex Server. I have linked my tidal account to Plex and that seems to be working well. My microserver is hooked to my stereo system via USB and would like to use the microserver to stream music from tidal on Plex using my iPhone or iPad as a remote controller for the Plex server on the microserver.
When I go on to Plex on my idevice there is a chromecast button that shows. When I click on it, it gives me option to cast on to Chome Web Plex and my Shield TV. When I choose chrome web Plex it asks me if I want to cast my iPhone but when I click on Yes it gives it trues to connect but after a while it says it’s not possible to cast that way. When I cast to the shield tv it dies it successfully which tells me the issue is between my iPhone and microserver.
Is what I’m trying to do possible? If yes how do I do it? I’ll appreciate your guidance
