How to create a new server on Synology?

I already have a Windows plex server, but I want to create a new server on Synology.
However, after installing the plex media server on Synology, I started and logged in to the plex account, but did not see the wizard for creating a new server.
I can saw the old server’s media on the new server,and In the top left corner of the server list, there is only the old server.
What is this question? What should I do?

I also have moved from a Windows PMS to Synology NAS (DS418J using the Beta development V1.13.6.176-dd1845234)

through the app on any device, windowns/ Ruku Stick/ iphone, i can see the original Windows PMS but can not see the new NAS PMS.

when first installed the NAS PMS was working ok but had terrible buffering, so tried to reinstall but now can not locate or load the NAS PMS.

please advise how to remove old window PMS and load new NAS PMS?

also how to reduce or eliminate the buffering.

Only the PMS in Synology has a problem.

Have you tried to log into the Plex page, click on the settings icon (wrench and screw driver), and under your user name on the left side, should see “authorized devices”. From there you can remove old servers, and your new one should show up there if you used the same Plex account for both.

Have you tried to open it by IP address of your Synology NAS?

To remove the application and change version: Uninstall the software from Package Center. The metadata is stored in a different location. This allows you to safely change versions.

To completely remove Plex, the metadata, and start again:

  1. Remove the package from Package Center
  2. Control Panel - Shared Folders - Delete the Plex share
  3. Restart DSM
  4. Your Synology is now ready to begin again fresh.
