Hello,
My movie collection is primarily instructional or home movies oriented. Plex believes many of my files to be feature films and is automatically renaming them to match this belief. It is telling me a workshop on massage therapy is the movie Collateral for example. Is there a way to tell Plex to just show me what the file name is and not what it thinks it is?

I am running into the same problem. I have several home made videos and the scanner is trying to match these with the names of actual movies. Under "Agents", Movies, the only option checked is "Personal Media". I do not have the option to uncheck "freebase" or "The Movie Database".

If you're creating a new section for your personal movies, click "Show Advanced Options" and select the correct Scanner and Agent from the dropdown menus:

Was looking for this too! Freebase has been pretty bad for me.
