How to Disable Home Pin

I have been looking for this for a while and haven’t found any way to turn plex home off?  Not sure how it got turned on but I only have one user and I am really tired of having to enter a PIN on every device and screen every time it times out for more than 5 minutes.  Is there any way to disable this super annoying feature?

Mod-Edit:

This solution refers to an older version of Plex. Find below the support article describing how to remove / change a Pin for a managed user (or yourself). Considering the solution is outdated, I’m also unlisting this post!

After been logged into Plex Web, look at the top right Where you find a down arrow...

Click that, and select users....

Click on the padlock icon

If you want to keep the pin, all the apps I've seen that use plex home have an "Automatically Sign In" option. In plex web this is under Settings -> Web -> General.

Thank you Dane22.  What a relief.  That is about the most esoteric way I could think to build a PIN remove button.

Thanks, never imagined that icon was doing something either

Huh, it sure does, so suspect your problem is different, like the new security preferences for 1.1.3 and above

And regardless, no need for a dislike !

Thank you.

Thank god. Who knew that little padlock actually did something.

Thank you for this. Was driving me crazy…

Hm, didnt know that ether. A small green lock. Hmm,

This explains it much easier… dane22’s explanation was missing a bit of details for those who are as slow as I am and do not know the in’s and outs of Plex.

My system no longer recognized the DLNA Plex Server in the LG Audio/Video TV app. Hope that was just the Plex password, your post gives me hope to find an easy solution, thanks joeboydotnet
