Where does one find the screensaver settings to disable it? I loose the album art when playing music over Plex on the home entertainment center. Reverts to floating Plex logo. Is this a setting in Plex or is it found in the device used; Roku; TiVo?
Well to be safe you need to disable any screensaver in both the client and in the app. Since you mentioned Roku here is how to disable the screensaver on the Roku:
From Roku’s main menu choose settings/screensaver and under wait time choose disable screen saver.
The in the Roku Plex app home screen press the up arrow to get to the top row and then right to get to your user name and then OK
Then select settings and the general and arrow right too get to the right side.
Note there are settings that do not appear on the first screen.
Use the down arrow to scroll the screen to screensaver and press OK and then select disabled.
after that you simply use the back button to get back to the Plex home screen.
Hope that works for you I do not use Plex for music so I have never tested screensaver behavior in Plex when playing music.
Note: The above will also work for the Plex app in any client using the Plex standard Plex Media Player interface.
