Here are my android tv logs for the crash and also for the black video screen issue
With the passthrough setting to OPTIC and also unchecked AC3 under optic codec.
Result, Video plays fine but audio volume is very low. When exiting from video Plex crashes.

Result. No video only black screen but audio plays fine. When exiting from video Plex crashes.

Would be great if the player could use the settings for video from the first and the audio from the second alternative from above.
PS. I have server logs for the above as well but prefer to send them in mail/pm if needed. (Running server version 1.23.5.4801 on Synology DS218play with DSM 7.0-41890)

PS2. I think the black screen may have somehing to do how eac3 is handled in ExoPlayer (priorities etc) but I could be very wrong. You can get the video working and the sound working (as eac3) but with different settings and not at the same time. This is just encoding and with the right predefined settings this should work?. Maybe a new device profile would easily fix this? I dont know if you do such specifics though…
