How to disable the new version of the player or fix problem with black screen

I really hope that Plex will bump up to the r2.14.2 version of ExoPlayer. Would be very interesting to see if the “Fix track selection for E-AC-3 streams” would solve the no video only sound bug.

Have you heard anything about what causes the crashes, Same problem still exist in latest Android versions. Was there anything obvious in the logs maybe?

Server Version#: 1.24.2.5000 (DSM v7)
Player Version#: 8.23.0.27774 (Android v5.1.1)
