I have this movie -
I have labeled the directory it’s in “Jackpot (2019)”. I have labeled the movie “Jackpot (2019).mkv”. I have created a file called “Jackpot (2019)-imdb.nfo” with the IMDB link. I have tried renaming the file as “Jackpot (2019) (tt10381126).mkv”.
For some reason, the agent keeps picking up
This is movie named “Jackpot” from 2015.
I understand I can do a “fix match” for now, but I want this match associated with the movie and not with the instance of Plex. When I create a new library with this movie (on a friend’s computer for instance) I have to remember to force a new match in his machine. Every time I try to blow my database and try to re-create it, I have a list of “fix matches” to do.
Anyway I can include some kind of metadata in the directory that will basically tell Plex “hey just use this movieDB link or just use this IMDB link” ?
EDIT: Here are some similar discussions that went nowhere.
