How to get correct subdirectories of a Main directory to show up under Plex Listings

Server Version#: Version 1.16.6.1592
Player Version#:

I have created a Directory called Documentaries on my Qnap 431Plus. In Plex Media Server I have them under TV Shows.
My question is the following: Under Documentaries I have other directories called Ancient History, Egypt, Greece, Rome ..etc.
Under each of those I have various Documentaries from the BBC and others. How do I get the Plex media player to correctly locate and display these directories. As of now they are either not being pickup or the titles are wrong or listed as episodes (i.e Instead of Ancient History I get Ancient Aliens)

I would like to see plex have for example: Ancient Greece as the Main title but under that I would see other subdirectories listed Like BBC Ancient Greece, Ancient Greek Gods, The Myceneans etc.. and under those titles would be the episodes.

As it stands now I would get for example Ancient History and when you go into it you would only see various episodes (alot of them wrongly named) but no sub directories such as BBC Ancient History or Discover Ancient History and with in those would be the correct episodes.

Example: on the QNAP I have a directory called Documentaries with Various Directories

Now under one of those I have other Directories of various shows

However Plex picks it up as

Where are all the other programs/ Directories etc.. They are missing or put into these folders listed which do not match with what I have

Plex is quite strict when it comes to tv-show type content. In particular it doesn’t like it if you add (or drop) any folder levels from its expected naming schema.

It’s probably easier if you group those shows in collections within Plex – this will cover for a single grouping level.

As it stands today, you cannot really achieve what you’re aiming for with Plex in a tv-show library.
You could try going with a movie or “other video” type library instead where you’ll be much more flexible when it comes to using folders.

ahh okay

Thanks
