So when Plex records a new TV programme it seems as though it grabs the metadata from the EPG and uses that over the preference of using the metadata grabbed when you auto-match the programme.
Question is, visually I prefer the auto matched metadata (Posters, ratings and info) but how do I get this information added automatically as soon as Plex saves a recorded show into that library. I have “Use local metadata” turned off in the advanced library settings - but still it doesn’t grab and the “auto match” option is still there and only when I choose “Fix match” and then “auto-match” does it then download this information.
Please help.
