I’d like to be removed from beta, there’s not enough support and many issues go ignored. How do I go about doing that on Android?

Lol yeah, in general there is a lack of support. What issue’s are you facing currently? I switched to a little bit older version and all issue’s i was having are solved.
Hi Mike yeah I wish it wasn’t that way, Plex is a great platform it just needs some more Active/engaged Support. The new beta was giving me an error when switching live TV channels. Then if you clicked on the channel again it would work. Then randomly while you’re watching the channel It would start buffering but register on the server as being paused and played over and over until you back out of the channel and reopen it . I’m on HD home runs so there’s no reason for it to be buffering. Backdating the software fixed it . I thought I was going to try to come back to Plex but I ended up switching back to Emby. It’s crazy, it Is very rare that it buffers on there And their Developers are extremely Engaging. Plex is still my go-to place for the Movie Library platform.
That sucks mate, sorry can’t comment on live channels. I don’t use it, for me a 4-5 month old build works… later on the changed something in pre-play or something and it completely messed up my playback. And the also made some design changes I am no fan of, but devs simply don’t care 
. I test every new stable and beta build. Somehow after that certain versions ( I am using) a setting internal got changed in plex code.
The day Emby app is more polished on Android TV, not the outdated look and feel. I move to Emby, did some test and the playback is 100 times better.

Even the Plex For Android release versions have been very problematic. I’ve finally turned off Automatic Updates in the google store because of crappy plex releases. How sad is that? I’ve turned off one of the most important security features of the app store (getting critical updates asap) because Plex can’t do proper release management and constantly pushes out utter crap onto our devices.

I even went as far as emailing the CEO . I wish they were more involved with their Fan base. I definitely agree, things need to be alot more stable and maybe slow down the roll outs a little bit to make sure they work well.
