I record TV shows via 7MC. I want to play back on Plex.
How do I set Plex to show either a List View of all files that is sorted by date recorded (file Modified date) or by show name?
I have 2000 files in one folder.
I have tried every display / sort option. I do not want PLEX to try to organize them as it fails to do it properly…
For example, I have 47 recordings of the Evening News, at the library root folder level… PLEX ignores all files in the root level and only wants to show folders.
I don’t care about Seasons, Recommended, Collections or anything else.
Perhaps the trouble is that I am using a mapped drive? The files are in a folder on another computer. I mapped that folder to be a drive letter on the PLEX computer. I added that mapped drive as a library.
This would be odd as I did the same thing with my movie files: All in one folder, mapped drive is a library. I can see all titles. However I cannot sort by File Date as there isn’t an option for this. Why not this option?
