How to improve performance?

Hello, 

 

I am running PlexConnect on my Windows Desktop PC. I have a lot of mkv 1080p movies 10-20GB. After about an hour I got a lot of lags. I have to restart PlexConnect on my Desktop-PC to continue watching my films.

 

1. Does the problem came from ATV3 or my Desktop PC?

2. How can I improve the performance to fix the lag issue?

 

 

My system: 

Windows 7 x64

8GB RAM

256 SSD Samsung 830 Pro

My movies are stored on a 2nd partiotion 1TB and QNAP NAS system
