Anyone know how to install Plex Media Server on Unraid version? After downloading the installation program, I first extracted it and found a file without an extension. I added execute permission but was told it couldn’t run. Then I extracted it again and found some files with paths. Can I extract them directly to the default location? But after restarting, the executable file in USR should no longer exist, right? I haven’t tried it because I’m afraid it will affect my family’s TV viewing, but I think all files except those in the boot folder will disappear. Can someone help me? Thank you!
I didn’t install the Docker version, the Docker version is fine. Now the Plex official website has a specific installation package for Unraid version, and this question is about the installation problem of this specific Unraid version.

I don’t run Unraid but a friend of mine does. AFAICT Unraid only runs Docker containers (I may be wrong there).
I run Unraid and run Plex in a Docker container. I can’t make out if you already have Unraid and trying to install Plex or if you are trying to get Unraid up and running. As adefaria said, check out SpaceInvader One, he has instructions on getting Unraid up and running as well as getting Plex installed in the docker container. You may also want to watch his video on how to manage memory and CPU cores on your Docker containers.
