In Xplay I used the pointer of the magic remote but as I see the latest Plex doesn’t support that. Right now I have to ( slowly ) fast forward if I want to skip some minutes but that isn’t very optimal if you need to jump longer scenes. Is there a better way to do that ?

The original Plex app on LG has a “long jump” that happened when you hit directional up/down on the remote. If you have chapter markings in your media it jumps to the next/previous chapter, but if there are no markings then it jumps 10 minutes I believe.
The new (preview release) app does not have this feature. Plex removed it because it makes more sense (to them) to reduce features to match other client apps rather add them.
With a magic remote you can use the cursor on the timeline. So the ok will active when required

Works for me with LG OLEDB8, just used it without issue using the pointer for the timeline, then right and left keys for jumping < or >
