I have upgraded my subscription to new plex pass subscription under new user name. but unable to link old account user name movies with new account because error message said cannot find my Nas Server under the old account user name. When server is same for new account old account name.
Please advise.
WHY?
not sure what any of that means but…
you must log the server into the same account as the plexpass.
If you have the server logged into an old that doesn’t have plexpass, you will have to log it out.
if it does not show your server, go to settings > sign out
then sign in with your old account.
once you can see your server @ https://app.plex.tv/desktop
you need to remove that server from that old account;
settings > authorized devices > change ALL to server and remove the server from the account.
go back to settings and log out of the old account
log in to the new account and follow the server setup wizard.
What made you think you’ll need a new account for a Plex Pass?
And why would you need to link them? … just log out from your Server and claim it with the new user
