How to map a network drive to a new laptop to access my plex media

First, I’ll apologize because I may not be new to plex but I’m not exactly very computer savvy. My question is this: I’m running plex on my desktop but just bought a new laptop to replace it. I can get to plex and my server online just fine but how do I map a network drive on my laptop to link the folder where I load my media to to my server on my laptop? I really hope that makes sense and really appreciate all the help!! Thanks in advance and have a great day.

Are you dealing with media on a shared network drive, or is this a local drive already on the same laptop?

Once a network drive is mapped (and every local folder), you can add it to a library inside Plex (see „Add Folder“):
