When I first setup livetv recording I had them going to my “TV” library.
I added 1 tv show “Show A”
Then I changed to “Recorded TV” library and added a second show “Show B”
Now every episode of Show A is still added to TV Library even though the files are being added to “Recorded TV” folder.
However all episodes of Show B are going to Recorded TV Library
How do I move Show A to Recorded TV Library?
From Live TV & DVR > Recordings select a future recording from the schedule and click Modify Recording. From there you can change libraries and/or destination folders.
I’ve already done that.
I changed the library for Show A = “Hogan’s heroes” a month ago.
It’s not showing in TV Recordings library.

As you can see only show B (the Rookie) is showing in that library.

Go to your library, select Edit for TV Recorded and verify that it’s referencing the correct folder. Now if your talking about not seeing your recordings that were made before you modified your library then you’ll either have to manually move those recordings to the new folder or reference both folder locations in your DVR Recordings library. Let me know if that helps…
So Hogan’s heroes only had a few shows located in the “Tv” library’s folder, the rest (the bulk) were already in “Tv Recordings” folders, yet none showed up in that library.
I moved the few that were in the TV libraries folder and then clicked rescan TV and TV Recording libraries. Still Hogan’s heroes doesn’t show up in TV Recordings library and shows up in TV library instead.
(So at this point all the files are under “TV Recording” libraries folder and NOT TV Library’s folders).
I did move all these files and rescanned the libraries before I filed this issue here.
Ah, gotcha. Fair to assume that you already restarted your server as well?
Yes. Have rebooted several times.
No change.
Have rescanned both libraries several times also no change.
