Why I’m not allowed to save the recordings in different libraries? Only the default TV Shows library is available for me and not any my custom created libraries are.
you should be able to set recording to any suitable library, and whatever path (if you have more than one path in a library).
navigate to ‘live tv and dvr’ > dvr schedule > click a recording, then change the library/path to your preference.
the same dialog appears when you create a recording.
I don’t think you can use an other videos library as a dvr destination, if that is what you are attempting. It must be a tv or movie library for dvr.
You can record to an “Other Videos” library just fine. However, it will only take airings which are categorized in the EPG as “movies”.
For a TV show episode, you will need a library of the type “TV Shows” as recording destination.
So which type are your other libraries?
If they are all “movies” or “other videos”, you cannot use them as recording destinations for tv show episodes.
