When scheduling to record a TV Show, I can only add the recording to the TV Show library, which may make sense except I prefer to add it to an alternative library I’ve established, “Recorded TV.” However, the drop down box shows no alternative libraries; it only shows “TV Show.”
On the other hand, when I schedule a recording of a movie, the drop down box allows me to add the recording to “movies” as well as “Recorded TV” and two other libraries.
Is there a way to add alternative locations for adding a TV show?
It definitely should be giving you more than one library option when recording TV shows, assuming you have multiple libraries of type “TV Shows” set up one your server:

I saw that you had two libraries established under the general category TV Shows. I only have one library (TV Shows) so I added the library, Recorded TV within the TV Shows category. And problem solved. I now have two options when I schedule a recording of a tv show.
It’s not elegant because when I schedule a movie recording, I have three options as to the location of adding the recording in addition to adding it to the movie library. None of those three options are within the Movie category; only the movie library is within the Movie category.
But hey, it works, and I appreciate your quick response. It’s is the fastest solution I have ever received in any forum. Thanks again
