How to pass custom parameters to mpv with the new Plex app?

The PMP app allowed to add a custom mpv configuration using a mpv.conf file located (on a Mac) in ~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Player/
It was interesting to tweek parameters not available through the UI.

The same method does not seem to work with the new Plex app, so I have 2 questions:
1/ Is it possible in some other way?
2/ If not, can you consider adding it?

All the customization will only work with PMP.
None of it is working on the new Plex app at this time.
