Hello, wondering if anyone knows how to make it so that films and tv series don’t require me to go into the settings and deactivate subtitles every time on the Apple TV. I’ve found a few things to sort on windows but nothing translates over?

Does it happen on other Plex clients as well - Plex Web, etc?
If so, check your account language and subtitle settings. Make sure they are configured appropriately.

You may need to restart the AppleTV if you change account settings (to force the Plex app to sync with the new settings).
For some reason regardless of if I go to settings I do not have the languages tab which is where it seems like I turn it off,
I only have
.General, quality, debug,player.

You’ll need to scroll down to the settings section and then click on edit under the “Language” and “Audio & Subtitle Settings” areas.
