Server Version#: 3.57.1 (on Windows7 64bit)
Player Version#: 2.17.1.70 (Plex for Xbox One S with Windows 10.0.17134.4071)
Hello all,
I’d like to find out how I can play all songs in a music folder with Plex player on Xbox One S, just like playing a CD.
Using Plex player on my Xbox One S, when I move into a folder in my PC with Plex server that contains a music album ripped from a CD, I cannot find a button to ‘play all songs’ in that folder.
I’ve been looking for a way to play all songs in the album according to their track numbers but there’s been no luck.
Are you using the folder view? I don’t know if this works with folder view, but under the regular view where you see an album, you either select play while looking at the album, or you can just start playing the first track and it will automatically queue up the rest of the album in track order.
Unfortunately i do not know what ‘regular view’ and ‘folder view’ are. Would you please specify what those views are and where I can change them?
If I move into a folder that contains music I want to play, some folder shows a ‘play’ button (right arrow) for playing music but many other folders do not have such ‘play’ button and I have to begin each song at a time.
I just want to play all songs in a folder in sequence just like playing a CD.
Please help.
Thank you.
When I change the setting to ‘Grid View’ and move into a music album folder, the songs are also listed as ‘Grid’ and there is no play button. Please refer to the picture below.
Below is what I see when I move into a folder: (I pressed on the view mode option after moving into the folder to check whether ‘Grid View’ was still selected.)
