I use the pro function for playing 3~5 trailers before the movie begins. Yet this is a great function wich works pretty well (some bugs i’m intended to report here soon), it lacks / ignores the prefered language that is set in the settings of Plex.
I guess would be great to have the ability to define the intended version of the trailer (original language/ plex prefered language/ original language + subtitle [select subtitle language]).
Someone knows anyway to get the trailers playing in my language / with subtitles?
Trailers are fetched in the language of the library, if they are available.
Did you set the language of your library correctly?
Set the options in the properties of the Plex Movie agent, particularly
‘Include extras with subtitles in Library language’

it wasn`t set the way you teach me. Now i ajusted, but still no subtitles on the trailers.
You need to Refresh Metadata on the movies, so the trailers are fetched according to the new setting.
If no trailer could be found in your language it’s normaly the US Trailer which is displayed instead, same here in Germany, but this function isn’t working 100% while you find 1-5 Trailers in German, Plex will play the english Version of it on some movies also if you try to refresh meta data it won’t switch to the German Version. I don’t know how they are searched.
Ah, appreciate the effort Otto, but i already did the refresh, and still, no Portuguese Trailers/Subtitled trailers avaiable! =(
Is there any way that i can open a bug to the dev team? Really want to see this feature working with Subtitles/In my home language =)
