My subscription is Lifetime Plex Pass. Even if I have ticked the box to see upcoming cinema trailers, I haven’t seen any in the last time.

Each individual library in Plex has a language preference for the metadata.
Edit your library
In “Audio & Subtitle Settings” I have chosen “Track selection”
In Language preferences, I have Spanish for Films and English for Series, I don’t know why…What language should I choose?

Let’s inspect the other properties of your movie library.
Edit your library,
go to the “Advanced” tab

Plex Client? Mmmm…where is that?
The software app or hardware device which you are using to watch a movie from your plex server.
What are you doing to watch a movie? Open a web browser? Start a TV device? Switch on a set-top-box?
I use my AppleTV for that.
Open the settings of the Plex app on the Apple TV.
It must have a selector for the number of trailers to play before a movie. Set it to “1” at minimum.
This selection is separate for each Plex client and user account.
I get trailers before the movies, but they are only films I have in my library, not new films.
Enable debug logging on the Plex server (do not enable ‘verbose’ loging)
Stop your Plex server
wait a few seconds
Start your Plex server
wait 3 minutes
fetch server logs and drag the zip file into here.
