ok my problem is this i currently run my server from my pc but this becomes annoying as it means i have to leave my running i have just brought a terramaster nas and wished to use this as the server to run plex i also have a wd mycloud
my problem is this everything runs on the one network connected together
i have treid and tested running the server from the wdcloud for obvious reasons this is to slow for running my large libary hence why i invested in the terra nas but my problem is this
it cant seem to see the wdcloud on the network so is not going to work as this has quite alot of programs and films on
when i treid running from the wdclud i would just input \TNAS\usbshare7 to point to a drive on the nas and all worked
on my pc i enter \TNAS\jwill\tv to point it to the terramaster no problems
but i cant seem to enter in the terra nas enter a folder i cant seem to get it to point to the wdcloud
can somweone perhaps let me know what to enter in add a folder when i click browse just the server comes up so i need to know how to enter the location
i have treid \MYCLOUDEX2ULTRA\tv11 which is the name of wdcloud and folder also tried
nfs://192.168.0.118/nfs/tv11 and 192.168.0.118\tv11 none of these seems me to connect the wdcloud
ps i dont think its a setting or anything as said my pc and wd cloud can both see the terra nas also i did just try a rival emby and that had a connect to the internet and then to browse in the add a folder and allowed me to connet straight to the wdcloud using the ip address
so any ideas of what to enter to get the terranas to see the wdclud ???
also i seem to remeber quite a few years back plex allowed us to conect to cloud starage like google drive i take it this has been taken away for some season who be good to get it back and right now a browse your network outside the where the server is hosted
