hi i am using mac PMS, 1.4.0.3224
Currently i have a movie library, when i add another movie library from different foder. it will auto change the “movie” to “other video” type, the drawback is it will display poster in landscape (cropped) in my mobile app(ios).
only the “movie” type library will display in portrait view. any solution to fix this or this is a bug?
You cannot add a library to another library in Plex. Could you describe what you are actually doing a bit more detailed please?
Edit your library(s) go to the ‘Advanced’ tab and check what is set for ‘Scanner’ and ‘Agent’ there.
For a Movie library, these settings must read
Scanner: ‘Plex Movie Scanner’
Agent: ‘Plex Movie’ or ‘TheMovieDatabase’
i clarify that i am not adding a exisiting library to a new one. its clean install.
first a add a “movie” type and asign to a folder. it is no problem. (view in portrait in mobile app)
after that i assign another folder to “movie” type again. somehow it turned to “video” type automatically. why? it will change to landscape view in mobile app.
