How to reconnect server after password reset

Player Version#:4.87.2

I have reset my Plex password, and the server became unauthorized.
I have followed https://support.plex.tv/articles/204281528-why-am-i-locked-out-of-server-settings-and-how-do-i-get-in/ this article to modify Preferences.xml. ( I found two, modified both). It doesn’t work. Then I removed server in Authorized Devices, the server is totally gone.
I am running Plex media server on a DSM 7, intel x64.
Loggedin to plex web by DSM7-ip:32400
What can I do other than remove whole plex folder?

Please use the built-in feature on all Synology DSM 7 systems.

It’s the same code except I was able to build it into DSM 7 menus.
