How do I remove the ads from my homescreen? I get that Plex makes money and they can continue to do that with the streaming they have but I don’t want ads on my homescreen. And definitely not “Love After Lockup” reality crap! How do I make it go away or is it time to leave Plex?
Go here and set EVERYTHING to DISABLED. https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/online-media-sources
Close and then restart the app.
That worked. I was afraid if I did that I would lose the live TV channels, and it did. I was hoping to keep the live TV, especially since I have my own tuner. It’s a shame they keep poking more and more ads in.
Still looking for a solution that let’s me keep my live tv.
Click more and pin your Live TV and DVR. It will populate back your tuner. It works for me, just removes the Plex Channels.
