I’m trying to find a way to report incorrect data being imported by the Plex Movie metadata agent, but I can’t find any channels. To be clear, the problem is not a file being matched to a different film, but the correct film having incorrect metadata.
In this case, it’s the movie Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers, which the Plex Movie agent thinks was released on March 3, 1990 when it was actually released October 31, 1988.
Most likely coming from IMDB → Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers (1988) - Release Info - IMDb as I see the Japanese release date is set to 3 March 1990.
Plex pulls its metadata from multiple online sources, namely IMDB, TMDB and TVDB. I believe they use TMDB as the default but they will fall back to IMDB is one does not exist there.
Its also wrong here → Watch Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers (1990) Full Movie Online - Plex so most likely something funky with their metadata scrapper defaulting to the Japanese date.

This is a rather unusual case. There never was a proper cinema release of this movie. (“Proper” meaning general availability in theaters)
It looks like it went straight to video.
If I run into any other weird cases, should I report them here, or is there another channel I should use?
