Rasplex? Is that similar to OpenElec? I have tried that for 3D-MVC.

Does it play Plex since it’s Android or do you have to use their interface only? It says it can connect to the Android store of course, but if this thing can play Plex and do all it says it can it sounds like an amazing box, and for about the same price as a Shield!

Found an answer:
Essentially a SATA port and 16GB storage instead of 8GB.
I’ve heard good things about it. But to get the best experience I think you’ll need to run their version of kodi and use the plex addon.
If I hadn’t had an shield today, that is what I would have went for.

I know this is an older thread, however, thanks to you ricelid i managed to get it working. However, for some reason, i am still having issues with the resume function, where it starts the movie from scratch. Anyone have any suggestions? i’m still using 17.6 64bit i believe, as it was more stable than anything else, madVR, DSplayer and plex for kodi. Any advise would be appreciated IF someone sees this thread 
Also, anyonw know where best settings can be found for this setup on madVR. I am VERY VERY new to LAV filters, etc… ie. i have no idea what to set via DSPLAYER .
