HTPC becoming unresponsive. Server itself running fine. Doesn't crash, not sure if logs are helpful

Player Version#: HTPC 1.31.1.3412

Recently got plex up and running. Using the same PC to run media server as HTPC, after 30-90 minutes of viewing the HTPC program becomes unresponsive, it continues to play what video it is on but won’t respond to any keystrokes. Have been using plex android app as a remote and it will disconnect from the HTPC. The media server itself continues to run without issue. Any ideas?
