Huge delays, lags, buffering, not playing

Plex was streaming fine, until I changed my network setup. Now, all I get on remote devices (or other devices on same network) is huge delays, buffering, or not playing at all. I have read several forum threads/posts and cannot find the solution for this.

All I did was change how my server is connected to the network, including the IP addresses associated with my Windows-based Plex Server on a Hyper-V based Virtual Machine. It’s connected to the same network. My library appears and I can access all the media on all players. All media still plays well on my Windows-based Host computer.

  • Secure Network: set as Preferred on server, ‘Always’ on players
  • I have rebooted router, computer several times
  • Cleared cache and re-installed player apps
  • Remote Access is connected; Fully accessible outside network
  • I have tried w/ and w/o transcoding enabled

I’m at a loss to figure this out. Any input would be appreciated.

Solved this by disabling large send offloading on the GUEST adapter. I neglected to do so, forgetting about it as new adapters were created with network change.
