Huge mess - status.plex.tv not showing faults!

What is going on? - status.plex.tv says no errors.

Iphone can connect and play from server, but server dont show its running

Android can lurk on stuff on server, but cant start anything!

Samsung tv works 5-10min - buffer, 5s, buffer … and server dont show it playing

Xbox runs a movie - 20min - stops - need to start plex again, to watch 20min more - server shows playing even AFTER its stopped

Chromecast the new with remote, says im not online or check status.plex.tv, and then can start stuff, but its not showing in server that something is running, and i cant switch users on it - since it thinks its not online.

Samsung tv kan lose server connection - its on same network?!

So i ask - what is going on? - and yes, i trid older server version and the new beta, nothing works and above here is my friday evening instead of enjoying serie … thanks “plex” - signed a not happy plexpass customer!

everything else online runs smooth, so its not router or internet!

status.plex.tv shows the health status of Plex cloud services.
It does not show the status of your plex server, it would be interesting if it did.

I use a UptimeRobot: Free Website Monitoring Service to monitor the availability of my plex server.

In Plex go to Settings \ Remote Access and you will want to monitor your Public IP Address and Port.

If you are a bit more tech savvy you can grab the HTTPS address that app.plex.tv uses to call back to your server and append your X-Plex-Token parameter to perform a synthetic transaction to get a more accurate measurement of the service health & availability down to your server.
