HW acceleration not working

Backup gone wrong, my decade long plex config got deleted, along with all configs, DB;s, etc.

I have created a new config and reimported everything, which is now back to normal, however HW Transcoding no longer works.

I have had a Plex Pass since the beginning, and have never had any issues, with HW transcoding.

Nothing else had changed, except a few Plex upgrades, and everything plays fine with HW transcoding off (but the CPU is having trouble keeping up, so my RTX A4000 would love to help)

I’ve even tried upgrading the NVME, Video Card, etc, etc, etc, and while everything seems faster, HW Transcoding still will not work (I’m stuck @13% on a Roku)

Also, I tried to log out of my server (since the ServerId is now different), and re-claim the server, in hopes it was a Plex Pass tied to the previous ServerId, but that did not work either).

Logs attached.

Please Help.

Enable debug, not verbose, level logs (Settings → Server_Name → General). Then re-create the problem, pull logs, and upload them to the thread.

Without debug level there is not enough detail in the log files (and verbose generally provides too much info).

Someone who knows about running Plex in a docker container will be able to help (I don’t run Plex with docker, so will be of little assistance).

Oops… was doing so many iterations, I forgot to turn it back on… here are the latest logs… I played a movie without Transcoding, and it starting playing just fine.

Then I stopped the movie, checked the Use hardware acceleration when available and tried to play the movie again… it goes through many stages before erroring out… at which point I captured the logs and sent them here.
