Hi there
I need some help; i had to change my router but now plex cannot find my libraries. I entered the port forwarding in the router but I can’t get onto plex with administrator rights and look for my libraries…
Any ideas? Much appreciated!
Synology Assistant ( tool you download from Synology ) will help you get into the Syno.
When you launch it, it will search for Synology machines on your LAN.
You can then log into DSM administrator desktop
From there you can change/set it’s network addresses as required
You’ll very likely need to change:
– Control Panel - Network - Network adapter
— Adapter address if you don’t want it where it is
— DNS IP (to point to your new router’s IP address)
— Gateway IP (to point to the new router’s IP address)
Depending on which OS your computer is, you might need to fix those addresses to.
