I cannot get my music library to scan

I am running on Windows 7 and I cannot get the library to scan past a few hundred. Is there a database that I can clear or a file I can delete to remove whatever is blocking Plex from thinking it doesn’t need to finish the scan?

I have tried the following:

  • removing the library and adding it back multiples times
  • naming a new library “music_” just to change it up

This same file system scanned just fine on my NAS. I see older versions had a deep scan but that’s no longer an issue. I am a Plex Pass customer and have the most current server version installed.

Figured it out after looking at the logs there was a file without a name. Deleted the file and all is good.
