I can't fast forward after pausing or rewinding Live TV in Plex Web

When watching Live TV in Plex (Antenna connected to a WinTV-quadHD), I can only rewind and cannot fast forward or even jump forward to the Live stream without stopping and restarting the playback. Even when I pause the stream, I cannot fast forward to get back to the live stream or skip commercials. Also, clicking on the video progress bar always just takes me back to the beginning, not the location I clicked.

I originally posted this on reddit with a gif so you can see what’s going on. I was pointed to these forums and was hoping someone might have a better idea of when this will get fixed?

We have been experiencing the same problem with Live TV timeshift for a very long time with Plex Web. If I refresh the player and start watching again, sometimes it starts working correctly. Very frustrating, but since our our media center is on Linux, Plex Web has been our only real option (up until recently with Linux Player and HTPC).
