I can't find my server or claim one on either of my Synology NAS boxes

I’ve got a couple of issues. It all started with trying to bring a second Synology Plex server online. I was struggling with having them show up under my one account. I was able to see each one individually using the http://ip.first.syno:32400/web and http://ip.second.syno:32400/web I just couldn’t see both in the drop down server menu while logged into my account.

I had the bright idea after reading the support forums to log out of each server and try to log back in and reclaim. This is the root and start of my problem now. I can no longer see either Plex Server from my Synology Nas boxes. I’ve tried the following:

  1. Shutdown and restart each Syno box
  2. Uninstall and reinstall plex on each Syno box
  3. Tried to navigate and delete the preferences.xml file using filestation but I’ve didn’t see one in the plex folder
  4. I’ve deleted the Plex user from users on box Syno
  5. I’ve tried some of the other suggestions when searching for this problem on the forums and internet

Please help! I’m at my wits end. Thank you in advance!

Thanks for the reply. Yes, they are both on the same subnet. I had all of this working originally and it was tied to my account for several wonderful years. The problem start when I added a 2nd Syno Nas. They would each be seen if the other was off. When both on, I could only see one of them. That’s when I started trouble shooting and disconnected my account from both boxes. Now I can’t claim either server.

They are also reserved with static IPs.

I’ve tried all the steps you provided and still no luck.
