I can't get my server to add files

Help me please!

I’ve run plex several times for years, but now my skills have sunk or something… I can’t figure out what’s wrong.

I downloaded the server
Installed it
tried to add Libraries
all i get is an endless loop of “download plex server” when I push the “Your media” tab.

I just can’t figure out how I go about adding my media. Can anyone please help. Im so frustrated I feel like crying. Exams are over and its xmas for christs sake. Litteraly.
