I cant see my media in the PLEX app

I am using the latest Server and Player versions. I have PLEX media server installed on my Nvidia Shield. I have my media on a USB HDD attached to my Nvidia Shield. But I cannot see my media in the PLEX app on my Nvidia Shield. I can only see it through the LAN on my PC or tablet. Why is this? Newbie.

I have the same. Once it catches it, it doesn’t catch it once. Once it connects, I still don’t know how to click on the application so that the movie on the PC does not shrink and not have to start it again. In general, this functionality is a joke with the new Plex on the phone and PC.

My USB HDD attached to the Shield, is in an external hard drive docking station. I found that turning the external hard drive docking station off and back on again while connected to my Nvidia Shield, enables the Shield to begin communicating properly with the HDD. Problem solved.
