Can’t Add Media To Library

My Plex is on NVIDIA Shield Pro with external HDD. I’m trying to add my personal movies to the library but as you can see, I don’t see the plus sign anywhere. I’ve looked all over and couldn’t find it. I’m able to stream from the Plex selection of movies just fine. What am I missing here?

You don’t manage PMS on the Shield from the Shield itself. You need to do that from a web browser using Plex Web, Opening Plex Web App | Plex Support.

However, those triangles mean that the Plex client couldn’t find your server. Is that from the same Shield running PMS?

Thanks I figured it out. Yes I scanned my movies via the web app. I see them now. My external hdd is not working well with Shield. It’s a 2 TB Seagate. Since it’s not connecting now, I can’t see my movies again because it’s my media server. Gonna return it to Amazon and get a different one. Which one works best with Shield?

Ok, so I bought a new external hdd and it seems to be better. I have pointed my movies to the folder on the external hdd using the web app. I couldn’t see the added movies on the app even after scanning. I moved them to another folder and that fixed it.
